A Harley Ride to Matrimony - Billy and Tabitha

Their Love Story, by Tabitha:

We met on Facebook Dating Site. We both didn’t have high expectations, both of us just newly out of past relationships... but we clicked "like" on each other pictures and we were matched! I was apprehensive and reminded him over and over I was just looking for friends (little did I know that I wouldn’t be able to live without him) We had our first three dates In late December 2019 at a local coffee shop, and from then on we have been inseparable.

We bought a home together in September of 2020 and are now working on expanding our family. We enjoy spending our time together on the Harley riding to wherever it takes us, spending time with our kiddos, and playing with our puppies! We both feel incredibly lucky to have found one another and know we have the kind of love that will last a lifetime.

Billy planned a motorcycle ride through our local scenery in Southern Idaho. The story was that we were to ride out to Hagerman towards Balance Rock (a beautiful valley with wineries and canyons and rivers) with his niece and her husband to help take photos of them for their home (little did I know that wasn’t true).

We stopped at a scenic overlook to check it out, Niece's camera in tow. We looked around, chatted and when I turned around Billy was on one knee asking me to marry him. All of it being documented which is the best! He had planned a big BBQ when we returned home with all his family and friends to announce our engagement. Everyone was there and it was so special. In my book, best proposal ever!

We chose Vegas because we are less than a traditional couple and we love the bright lights and excitement of Las Vegas. Our family loves Vegas as much as we do and planning an untraditional and quick nuptial ceremony was perfect for us! We were able to enjoy all the fun things Vegas had to offer for our kids as well as enjoy the night life when the sun goes down! It helps that it was also just a quick 8-hour road trip from our home.

We chose the Excalibur Hotel to stay at because of it’s location and kids arcade. It was right where we wanted to be and we never had an issues with our stay. The kids loved the arcade and we enjoyed the restaurants that were available, especially Dicks last resort (super fun).

My dress was chosen at David's Bridal in Boise, Idaho. They were fantastic helping me find my beautiful black dress and getting it completely altered to fit me. I bought the last black Vera Wang dress available and it was perfect!

"I received compliments on my hair and makeup all day into the night!"

I chose Las Vegas Hair and Makeup for my hair and makeup style because of their reviews and gallery. They were super attentive when planning and made me feel at ease. Lucy was my stylist and she did an amazing job. She was on time, she produced exactly what I envisioned. I received compliments on my hair and makeup all day into the night! The makeup stayed on and fresh well into the night and I was given a sample lipstick to do touch ups through the day! Definitely a great experience.

Billy’s tux came from Men's Warehouse in Twin Falls, Idaho. They were the only tux rental location in our area but were amazing making sure he was taken care of. They were able to set it so he could pick up and drop off his tux in Vegas!

We chose Chapel Of The Flowers because of their amenities and their beautiful location. We love the sleek and classic look of the La Capella Chapel and choosing them meant we didn’t have to worry about the little details! They made our ceremony perfect! The minister was insightful and funny and brought so much good energy to the ceremony, our flowers they arranged were incredible. They did exactly what I had envisioned and I get to keep them forever. Everything was just how we had wanted!

We chose our reception dinner at El Dorado Cantina Tivoli Village because we Love Mexican food and they did not disappoint! We had a patio setting for our guests and it was a beautiful location! The food was amazing and the drinks were flowing! Their wait staff was attentive and friendly. We definitely will visit when in Vegas again!

We chose Stacy Frick at On The Rocks Photography for our after ceremony photos because of the amazing photos in her gallery as well as her upbeat fun personality when setting plans up! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with one of a kind photos. She took us out of our comfort zone which was perfect! Our pictures are exactly what we wanted! We plan on booking her every year we come to celebrate our anniversary!
